Profile
Lauren represents employers in all aspects of employment law, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation issues.  She also works with employers to ensure compliance with federal, state and local labor and employment statutes.  In addition, Lauren handles administrative matters, including proceedings before state human rights commissions, the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the United States Department of Labor.

Prior to law school, Lauren worked in the Human Resources department of a large international law firm for several years.  In that capacity, she was responsible for developing policies and procedures, assisting with the performance review process, and recruitment.  She also acted as the liaison between employees and Human Resources.  During law school, Lauren was selected to participate in an externship with the legal department of a Fortune 500 company. Her work alongside Human Resource professionals and in-house counsel, as well as her business background, give Lauren a unique perspective from which to advise clients.
