Employment Litigation
Joy has experience advising and defending employers in employment-related litigation, including employee termination, reductions in force and WARN Act issues, Title VII discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. Joy also regularly advises management regarding employee counseling issues and in drafting employment policies and training and/or management materials.
Complex Litigation
Joy is a member of the Complex Litigation Group and has significant experience defending Fortune 50 companies in a wide variety of complex commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, negligence, class actions, and various other common law and statutory business torts. Joy is also knowledgeable with managing electronic discovery and sound document retention and destruction policies.
